Mueller Imaging Micro-Endoscope
The PVS advanced polarimetric micro-endoscope (Polaris One) utilizes an innovative optical fiber design to allow for in situ polarimetric imaging and screening for cancerous tissues while maintaining real time frame to frame calibration. A combination of a polarimetric image fiber bundle along with a polarimetric CCD camera provides key information regarding tissues being imaged. Polarimetric images are enhanced and analyzed by a proprietary image processing software developed to detect early onset of cancerous growth.
